MailTo Xtra allows to send e-mail from a Director's presentation. E-mail can be sent in one of two ways: either by launching the default mail client (e.g. Outlook) on the local machine, or directly to the given mail server. The first way is available only on the machines with some mail client already installed (almost every PC owns such a program these times). The latter way is independent from a local mail client, but is slightly less user-friendly since it demands well-thought-out errors handling (a presentation should, for instance, react properly to connect failure). The choice of the method depends on the designer's conceptions and technical requirements of the presentation.
