Video and Audio can be captured from practically any source, including DV cameras, analogue capture cards, TV Tuner cards, web cams etc.

The VdigXtra is a software plug-in that allows Microsoft Windows based applications written using Director to capture Video and Audio from hardware inputs and, uniquely, export and manipulate it in any format supported by QuickTime. Video and Audio can be captured from practically any source, including DV cameras, analogue capture cards, TV Tuner cards, web cams etc. Importantly, if the source supports them, abilities such as remote control of VCR transport (Play, Rewind, Fast Forward etc.) and import of Time Code are also available. Live video can be incorporated into Director projects simply by placing the VdigXtra sprite on stage identically to any other visual element supported by Director. The price of $400 (Australiani) includes royalty free distribution. A fully featured 14-day trial key is also available.
