DrawXtra gives you the ability to create a paint application in Director. It is an ideal solution to add drawing capabilities to your Shockwave pieces, enabling the efortless creation of true painting and coloring online applications. DrawXtra provides a variety of drawing tools, including freehand lines and fill, and can also be used for algorithmic drawing operations controlled by Lingo. These capabilities make DrawXtra perfect for children's titles and applications where the user has to draw complex figures at runtime, including graphs and charts. DrawXtra canvas can be saved as a .bmp or .pct file (except when the Xtra is running in Shockwave, where additional security restrictions apply,) or as a castmember to be used in other parts of your program. The Xtra also provides a variety of advanced settings for precise control of drawing operations, including the ability to draw in a non direct-to-stage surface that can be composited seamlessly with your other graphic elements.
