You can place, resize and position your choice of buttons, drop down lists(popup), sliders, checkboxes, text fields and labels. One click on the Generate button creates all of the Lingo code necessary to run the dialog and copies it into the clipboard, ready to paste into a Director script. MUI Maker runs on a PC, but the Lingo code it generates works in Director movies on both the Mac and the PC to display dialogs native to the platform the movie is running on. MUI Maker was built to generate code for use with Macromedia's™ own MUI (Macromedia™ User Interface) Dialog Xtra. Instead of spending days trying to understand the complex detail of the MUI Xtra, MUI Maker lets you concentrate on dialog design and writes the code for you. Since layout and code generation are separate steps, artists and interface designers on a project team can create and save dialog layouts for later integration by the programmer into Director movies.
