Thsi creates a URL shortcut in the location and with the name specified. Requires Buddy API. TO make a shortcut to MediaMacros, you would call it like this... makeURLLink ("http://www.mediamacros.com", baSysFolder("desktop"), "MediaMacros")

on makeURLLink whatURL, whatFolder, whatFile   baWriteIni( "InternetShortcut", "URL", whatURL, whatFolder & whatFile & ".url" ) end
