How can I import Photoshop files with transparency?

With Director 7 you can import any PSD file with an alpha channel as a cast member with the same alpha channel. If you don't want to create channels for each layer you can use the Photocaster Xtra from Medialab. In earlier versions of Director you will also need to use Medialab's Alphamania Xtra to allow alpha channels in Director.
