LiveVideo is a Quicktime compatible XTRA for Macromedia Director 5.x and 6.x. LiveVideo allows applications created with Macromedia Director to display video from an external source through video input hardware on a 68K or Power Macintosh computer. LiveVideo is designed for CBT and kiosk applications where the hardware platform specifications are known to the developer. We have successfully used LiveVideo in a kiosk installation at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. LiveVideo has been tested on a PowerMac 8500, 7600 using the built-in video input, as well as a Quadra 950 w/ RasterOps Mediatime video card.
