Behavior Writer is a shareware authoring Xtra for Macromedia Director. It speeds and simplifies the process of writing the core structure of a behavior through ensuring that the description list for each behavior is properly formated. It also adds user-specifed default event handlers to each behavior. Properties are entered through fields and menus. Error checking prevents a mismatch between format and data type, along with prompts for required property values. The behavior's properties can be reviewed and edited as the behavior is being created and it can then be written to any of the castLibs within or linked to the current stage movie.
